Busy week ahead

By Andrew Tunney

Wow, I’m sure that I have the week from hell ahead of me…

Megan from imaginif has asked me to look at a problem with her forum; my boss called today and asked me to do a mailout which involves me folding and stuffing in excess of 2000 letters into envelopes.  The upside is that my boss is going to pay me some extra money for the mailout; I just need to try and hold onto my sanity while I am doing it.

At least if nothing else it will be more money towards the Ford Ranger which looks like happening around May to June.

I am not looking forward to the coming week as it is effectively starting tomorrow and it’s going to be an early one starting at 5:00am, the time that I usually get up Monday to Friday.  If nothing else it will mean that the time flies that little bit faster as I am going to be that busy it will not be funny.

I just need to not “kill” any clients (I so need to have a break for a bit now; I haven’t had any time off since I think late March / early April last year?) and hold it together until I can get the Ranger and then take a fortnights leave and get it dirty with some off road trips, I’d love to do a quick 4 day run to Weipa for some fishing, but I will need to see how everything goes money wise before I can look forward to that.

  1. Good luck Andrew, as you said at least the time will fly :)

We’re in a way in the same predicament. I was also hoping that time flies faster and get accepted in another line of work with better pay. I just received a good news about getting about 40% discount from a car dealer in an arrangement with my wife’s company, but don’t want to use that incentive hastily until I can get some decent parking space in my home.
