iPhone OS 3.0 Update

Apple has announced that the long awaited iPhone OS version 3.0 will be available on June the 17th 2009.

In addition to this, the company will also be releasing a new iPhone; full details of the new iPhone model are available from Apple’s web site here.  The new model will be available in 16gb and 32gb models; it would appear that pricing at this stage is not available.

New features of the version 3.0 OS release include:

• Cut and Paste
• Voice memos
• Landscape keyboard
• Spotlight search
