Lots on this weekend
Posted by: | CommentsWell, I’ve got lots on this weekend, but not really going anywhere.
There’s a trip to Cairns Central involved to take something back to the shops; then back home to get this site sorted out. Since the migration, there’s been very few issues but still they are major ones from my perspective.
Affiliate links aren’t working, my One-Theme still won’t work due to the one-panel plug-in not working properly and causing the site to go offline every time that I install and activate it for some reason.
Then after I get that sorted out I want to get the car cleaned up; it looks like a bomb that has gone off in downtown Kabul at present, with all the crap that Matt leaves in it repeatedly. With me looking at getting a new Jeep in the next few months, I need to get it all cleaned up and looking clean again. With kids you tend to neglect the car as they just repeatedly trash it and leave stuff in it everywhere despite you asking time and time again for them not to; you really get sick and tired of “banging your head against the wall”.
Really have to get out of the habit of taking the easy way out.
Joomla DB not playing nicely :-(
Posted by: | CommentsOk, well it looks like the Joomla 1.0.13 DB isn’t going to play nicely with the import to WordPress
All the information that I have been able to find on the import of the data from th DB indicates that a migration plugin will do the trick; for 1.0.12 though
Looks like the changes to the DB in version 1.0.13 of Joomla (which were irreversible) has screwed the import procedure and everything will have to be lost. Fortunately it’s not a big thing but a royal pain in the ass anyway as I would have liked to keep some of the content…
Oh well, time to go to bed at 12:16am Sunday morning
